Rebar and More Rebar

First of all, the towers are still getting attention, although Red Ladder was a little bored.
The north lot was bustling with activity.  Mr. Crane delivered rebar sheets which were built in the west lot.
It appeared to me that the rebar around the annex elevator was being built in place.
An onlooker and I decided that the rebar sheets and the yellow concrete forms are being placed along the barrier wall to the right of the staircase in this picture.  That area is not visible to my camera, but if we are right, we'll see this work progress around the north lot.  If you are doubting this, I will admit that we looked in the basement and the forms and rebar aren't there.
I actually thought the yellow forms were 2x4s, so I was surprised when I zoomed in to see they are metal.
Both cranes were busy today, mostly moving rebar.  These workmen on the west side of the tabernacle are detaching a load.
Rebar on the west side is multiplying.
Mr. Dashing Track Hoe lined the mechanical tunnel with gravel.
When he emptied his gravel bucket, he pushed it around on the lot like a dog trying to get the last of his food out of a dish.  Then, as if his dilemma wasn't clear enough, he held it up for all to see.
Fortunately, Mr. Front End Loader came to the rescue.
Baby Track Hoe and the pile driver worked in the southwest lot.
Work on the concrete forms for the foundation continues all around.
I was happy to spy Mr. Ladder at work in the basement.  We can still see what will be the lowest level.
Part of the north foundation wall was poured last Friday.
This portion of the west entrance floor was poured over the weekend.
It's interesting to watch the underground parking garage approach.

That's a lot of re-bar.

So it looks like all the activity on the north lot with the yellow metal bars are for the parking garage that we are not able to see in the construction cam, correct?

Also, do you know what they were up to last night? The cam shows that the lights were on on the interior of the basement all night.

My belief is the yellow metal construction forms will ultimately be used around the entire perimeter, but right now we can't see where they are working in the north lot via the construction cam. And yes, when they get to the east side of the south lot, we won't be able to see them there, either. I think the lights being on -- for the last two nights, actually -- are for security. My reasoning is the gates were closed and I haven't seen workmen there without the gates being open. I'll see what I can learn, though -- I'm wondering about that.

Sounds good. Also, I am always seeing dirt being dug up on the south side. Are they expanding the basement or something? The last pic I saw was of the old staircase being removed.

They continue to deepen the level of the south side for the underground parking.
