In the Thick of Things

I couldn't resist going to the site this morning.
All this construction stuff has been a steep learning curve for me, but I have the pours figured out.
First, the cement truck fills the pump.
That happens this way.
These guys aim.
These men smooth it out.
Voila!
The pavilion is now lit at night.
The temple looks peaceful at any hour.

Thanks for your due diligence, Julie! Seems that you made it to the site in the very EARLY morning hours. We appreciate it!

Don't you love how these construction guys like to keep us guessing? No matter what else is revealed throughout this construction process, they have left the stair entry covered and a mystery! Its that special carrot being dangled consistently before us!

Someday....

I'd be happy if the pavilion got a little farther along...
